Wallaces opened in 1958 in Dalry Edinburgh.

We stocked everything you could ever need for every make and model and appliance. This was quite straight forward in those days as most people had a Hoover vacuum or a twin tub. Nowadays things are very different in the home. There are now huge numbers of manufacturers of appliances making all sorts of electrical goods.

At Wallaces we have kept up with this changing market. We now use a fully computerised product reference system to identify parts and supply a postal service to all parts of the UK. We are now one of the largest independent retailers of domestic appliances/parts/repairs service in Scotland.

Our premises in Dalry have also expanded to cope with the huge stocks that we now carry and now encompass six different retail, workshop and storage units in the area.
